Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner began a brief romance last fall while filming the romantic comedy Valentine’s Day together.

The two Taylors were spotted together frequently and the country cutie and handsome werewolf quickly became young Hollywood’s ‘it’ couple.

However, the relationship officially fizzled when Lautner, 17, flew to Nashville for Swift’s 20th birthday party on December 13.

A source close to Swift said of their break-up, “It wasn’t really developing into anything, and wasn’t going to, so they decided they were better as friends.”There was no chemistry.”

“He liked her more than she liked him,” the source added.

Now, based on the lyrics to Swift’s new single ‘Back to December,’ it sounds like the singer-songwriter may have had a change of heart about the relationship.

The Grammy-winning singer tells E! News, “The person I wrote this song about deserves this,” she said in an exclusive interview. “This is about a person who was incredible to me, just perfect to me in a relationship, and I was really careless with him…This is a song full of words I would say to him that he deserves to hear.”

Here are the lyrics to the portion of the song Swift previewed:

I miss your tan skin, your sweet smile, so good to me, so right,

This is me swallowing my pride,

Standing in front of you saying I’m sorry for that night,

And I go back to December all the time.

It turns out freedom ain’t nothing but missing you,

Wishing I’d realized what I had when you were mine,

I go back to December, turn around and make it all right.

We are hoping the song might make it all right for Taylor squared, we’d love to see them back together.
