T.I.‘s wife Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle has been charged with possession of ectasy stemming from a traffic stop last month in Los Angeles.
Cops pulled the couple over and discovered drugs in their possession. The rapper and his wife were both arrested.
T.I. was on probation for a previous weapons possession charge. The drug arrest violated terms of his probation, prompting a judge in Atlanta, Georgia to send him back to jail for 11 months.
California dropped the possession charges against T.I. because officers did not follow proper procedure during his arrest.
‘Tiny’ now faces up to a year behind bars if convicted. Her arraignment is set for November 1.
T.I., who spent most of 2009 behind bars for the weapons possession charge will begin his latest stint in the slammer next month in Arkansas.
