Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi has apparently had a wake up call after landing in the drunk tank following her arrest for public drunkenness on a Jersey Shore boardwalk last week – see photos.
The 22-year-old spent several hours sleeping it off at a Jersey cop shop after an early afternoon session of drinking tequila shots. The fallout came mostly from her father. She said: “My dad was very, very pissed. He’s like ‘I didn’t raise you like this.'”
The experience has provided an epiphany of sorts. Snooki claims: “I just felt really bad, so I’m definitely going to stop drinking during the daytime. And now when I go out I only have a couple drinks. I learned that I need to calm down with drinking. It definitely embarrassed my family and that’s not good.”
The Jersey Shore actress, who has earned a reputation as a party girl, will stand before a judge on August 18. She admits: “I’m scared to go because I feel like a criminal. It’s just a drunken mistake.”
