Serene Branson, the CBS television reporter who exhibited signs of a possible stroke while reporting from the Grammy Awards for her L.A. based station KCBS, appeared in a Today Show segment about her ordeal.
The blonde reporter, who was suddenly unable to speak coherently while doing a live TV feed Sunday night, has undergone a complete medical evaluation at UCLA Medical Center. Her neurologist has determined that her symptoms, which can closely mimic a stroke, were actually caused by a complex migraine.
She is now diligently charting what she ingests in an effort to discover things that might trigger future episodes. She is anxious to get back to reporting the news instead of being the news.
