Paris Hilton foiled an attempted break-in at her Hollywood home Tuesday morning. The man, wielding several knives, attempted to gain entry but the quick action by the home owner brought several police squad cars to the scene, where they arrested a man at 6:30 a.m. PT.
The 40-something intruder banged on the windows in an attempt to gain entry. This alerted Hilton, who then saw him on her security system camera and called 911.
Police have not yet determined if the incident was a random robbery attempt or if Paris foiled a botched assault by a crazed stalker. In either case, she now has earned some serious bragging rights for her quick action under duress.
Paris immediately turned to her Twitter page to share a twitpic of the police while they were apprehending the suspect – shown in handcuffs above. She ‘tweeted’: “So Scary, just got woken up to a guy trying to break into my house holding 2 big knifes. Cops are here arresting him.”
We couldn’t help adding our own touch to the Hilton Twitpic because Paris clearly kicked-a** in this particular situation.
