Bitten and Bound’s very own Danni Starr is sporting her red …

We hope you have your red on because today is National Wear Red Day. The annual event was established by the American Heart Association to raise awareness about heart disease — the number one killer of women.

Go Red For Women is a passionate, emotional, social initiative designed to empower women to take charge of their heart health.

The movement launched in 2004 with the goal of dispelling myths and raising awareness of heart disease. For the past seven years, people and corporations all over the nation have joined the fight.

Companies and national landmarks have cleverly turned their buildings red to show their support. Be one of the millions of people who will deliberately spice up their wardrobe with a show of red on February 4.

Over 500,000 women a year die from heart disease! Know your numbers, love your heart, GO RED! For more information click HERE.
