CBS announced on Monday that singer-songwriter Miley Cyrus will appear in a multiple-episode guest arc on the popular sitcom ‘Two and a Half Men.’
She will star as Missi, an old family friend of Walden (Ashton Kutcher), who comes for a short visit and ends up in a relationship with one of his housemates.
It turns out Cyrus’ character will hook up with Jake (Angus T. Jones) when he comes home on leave from the Army.
The former Disney celeb is guaranteed two episodes with the possibility of a recurring role if the initial story line resonates with viewers.
Jon Cryer, cast as Jake’s dad Alan Harper, has been nominated for a 2012 Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. Kutcher did NOT receive a nod.
Season 10 of ‘Two and a Half Men’ premieres Thursday, Sept. 27 at 8:30 ET/PT on CBS.
