The late Michael Jackson isn’t the only celebrity who has extravagant and over-the-top taste in furniture. It is being reported that Mariah Carey is planning to bid on MJ’s Italian furniture that he purchased to fill the London home where he was to reside during the ill-fated “This Is It” tour.

Mariah has asked her interior designer Kenneth Bordewick to be present at Julien’s Auction in Las Vegas tomorrow to bid on the ornate custom Italian furniture pieces.

They were originally purchased for a mere $200,000 and could go for upwards of $1 million, with an opening bid of $150,000. The proceeds from the auction will go to Jackson’s estate. We are guessing that Mimi will end up with the highest bid.
