Word is … Lindsay slept over at the home in question after a small gathering Sunday night and now she is being questioned about some expensive jewelry that has vanished.
The gem owner asked to have an LAPD investigator dispatched to the scene after realizing that a theft had occurred. Officers interviewed everyone inside.
LiLo, who has a history of pilfering a fur coat and a jewelry store necklace, claims she is innocent.
The ‘Liz & Dick’ actress was cooperative and is not considered a suspect at this time BUT the investigation is still underway.
We’ll hazard a guess that when the homeowner first realized the theft, Lohan immediately rose to the top of the suspect list. So far Miss Sticky Fingers is coming up squeaky clean.
