Still in rehab and in a heap of trouble …
Lindsay Lohan is in hot water at the Betty Ford Center. The actress and two other patients reportedly “went drinking” on December 12. What happened when they tried to sneak back into the facility after their curfew has created a media firestorm.
The alledgedly inebriated trio were observed jumping over the back wall to the clinic house where they are living. Chemical technician Dawn Holland was summoned to administer Breathalyzer tests. When she arrived Lindsay was foul-mouthed, angry and out of control according to the tech. She refused to be tested.
An altercation ensued and Lohan reportedly called 911. After Lilo had her say she was asked to put the tech on the line.
While Holland was speaking to police, she said Lohan grabbed her wrist and wrestled the phone out of her hand. The woman sought treatment for a sprained right arm and hand and was placed on worker’s compensation leave from Betty Ford Center. She is cooperating with an official police investigation and plans to press charges.
The tech told the media: “She had alcohol on her breath. I did not touch the woman. I am not willing to risk my job over any patient.” Unfortunately, when she decided to go public with this confidential patient information — she was fired.
So what does legal eagle Shawn Chapman Holley have to say about her client’s recent behavior? “We are declining to comment on the underlying facts surrounding this incident, as we await the completion of the police investigation. It should be noted, however, that it was Ms Lohan who called 911 to request police assistance at the time this incident occurred.”
Lohan’s court-ordered stint at Betty Ford expires on January 3, 2011. The judge warned the young woman that any violation could land her back in jail. This should be interesting.
