Imagine your child starred in porn movies. Actor Laurence Fishburne was blindsided when his daughter Montana Fishburne signed an X-rated movie deal with Vivid Entertainment and it appears he has all but disowned her.
Montana told TMZ that she spoke with her father Laurence for the first time yesterday, two weeks after the bombshell hit the media on July 30th. As you may have guessed, he is very unhappy about the situation and the poor decisions that his daughter has made.
The 19-year-old revealed what her father said: “I’m not going to speak to you until you turn your life around. You embarrass me. You used your last name. No one uses their real name in porn.”
Montana is negotiating a multi-picture deal with Vivid to star in more porn flicks. Her first movie sold out immediately and there is a large backlog of orders that VE is working to fill. Her first project has undoubtedly fueled her resolve to plunge in head first.
Fishburne was arrested last year for prostitution, although she claims it was really for trespassing. In a recent interview she stated that she has always been very comfortable with her body and her sexuality and that porn is something she has always wanted to do.
We’re with Laurence – she should have changed her name. Montana leveraged her father’s name recognition, without his knowledge, to sell sex…and it worked.
