Kris Humphries just inked a new two-year deal with the Brooklyn Nets worth $24 million, a significant pay raise for the starting power forward.

The 27-year-old showed his worth last season after signing a one-year deal worth $8 million. He averaged 13.8 points a game, finishing fifth in the league in rebounds, averaging 11 in about 35 minutes of play per game.

It didn’t take the NBA star long to dig at Kim Kardashian‘s boyfriend Kanye West, who recently suggested on a rap track that he could have his pal Jay-Z, part-owner of the Nets, fire Kris.

Nets #43 sent an interesting Twitter shout out to Mr. Shawn Carter: “I’m up at Brooklyn! @S_C_ .” Then in an obvious reference to KW, he added “Lucky I didn’t have Jay drop me from the team, lol!”
