Comedic actor Katt Williams is in trouble again. The entertainer was jailed early this morning after flashing a gun at a Hollywood nightclub.

LAPD officers were dispatched to the famed Supperclub at 1:00 a.m. where bar patrons identified Katt as the man with the weapon.

The actor was not packing by the time he was frisked by police, but Williams and two other people in his party were carted off to the slammer after an unregistered gun was discovered in their vehicle.

Katt was released at 4:55 a.m. without being charged and claims it was all just a big misunderstanding. Meanwhile, police continue their investigation into who owns the gun.

This is Williams fourth brush with the law since 2006. His charges range from a misdemeanor count of carrying a concealed firearm, burglary and criminal trespass, assault with a deadly weapon and felony intimidation of a witness.
