Kate delights during her first official duty …
Kate Middleton dazzled the crowd in Anglesey on the blustery Welsh coast as she and her fiance Prince William arrived to launch a new RNLI lifeboat.
Dressed in a Philip Treacey mini-hat, three-quarter length beige coat, brown scarf and suede boots, the soon-to-be Royal played her role to perfection. She wore her hair tied up in what we American’s refer to as a ponytail — undoubtedly because of the extremely windy conditions.
After meeting dignitaries at the Trearddur bay Lifeboat Station, Middleton poured a bottle of champagne over the new Hereford Endeavour rubber raft.
Prince William is stationed at the Anglesey RAF base as a helicopter pilot. The couple have a home in the area.
