Oprah kicked off the 25th season of her afternoon talk show with a shocking surprise for her entire Chicago studio audience.
The talk show maven announced that she will be taking all of them to Australia. Flying the jetliner that will carry passengers and crew numbering 300+ will be actor and pilot John Travolta.
The 8-day, 7-night trip will take place in December. John and pregnant wife Kelly Preston are anxiously awaiting the arrival of a son this fall – baby bump photos here.
Winfrey also gifted each member of today’s audience with a Motorola Smart Phone. Not long ago Oprah gave all of her ‘O’ Magazine staffers $10,000 and an iPad.
Oprah’s generosity is legend. During the 2004 season opener, she gave a car to every person in the audience as she began the mantra: “you get a car, you get a car, you get a car….”
