Points leader Kevin Harvick got into it with Joey Logano, aka ‘Sliced Bread’ at the Gillette Fusion ProGlide 500 at Pocono Raceway on Sunday, as evidenced by the video below.

With less than two laps to go in the Sprint Cup Series race, Harvick nudged Joey Logano out of the top 5, when he made contact with the young racer’s right rear quarterpanel, causing him to spin.

After the race ended, 20-year-old Logano exchanged words with Harvick and had to be held back by Harvick’s crew. The display of anger was rare for the normally laid back youth.

Logano got in a dig afterward, “Racing 29, and he let me go in the middle of the straightaway and decided to dump me in the next turn. It’s probably not Harvick’s fault, his wife wears the firesuit in the family and tells him what to do, so it’s probably not his fault.”

NASCAR officials made a request through team owner Joe Gibbs to speak to Logano. Joe said, “I think we probably missed the fire that’s inside of Joey. He’s somebody that rarely gets out of control.”

Harvick took 4th place and Logano finished 13th.
