Rihanna stepped into the cross hairs of outspoken E! Fashion Police host Joan Rivers this week and the duo exchanged a few heated Twitter jabs.
The outspoken 79-year-old was not impressed with the Barbadian entertainer’s responses to questions about her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown during an Oprah interview.
Rivers sniped on Twitter, “Rihanna confessed to Oprah Winfrey that she still loves Chris Brown. Idiot! Now it’s my turn to slap her.”
RiRi tweeted back, “Wow, you really do get slow when you’re old, huh?”
Joan offered up some advice while extending an olive branch, “Honey, Rihanna, everyone knows: If he hit you once, he’ll hit you again. Read the statistics. PS — Love to have you on Fashion Police!”
Joan also paid homage to the passing of comedic icon Phyllis Diller with a humorous tweet:
