Glee creator Ryan Murphy told a crowd of Gleeks that producers are planning a “Rocky Horror Picture Show” themed episode in Season 2.
During a panel which included select cast members in Ballroom 20 of Comic-Con, Chris Colfer, who plays Kurt Hummel on the show, said he’d like to sing the cult classic’s signature anthem “Time Warp.” Murphy then said he’d have his chance in an upcoming special episode, as the audience cheered wildly.
Murphy also revealed that producers will cut the musical numbers from eight to five. “That got to be a little much,” he said of the demands on the cast.

– Kurt will get a boyfriend and Murphy hopes the couple will be crowned Prom King and King.
– Another episode with feature a religious theme with Mercedes singing at church, taking Kurt with her.
– Tina will not be dating Artie. She’ll start dating Mike Chang.
– Idina Menzel will reprise her role as Rachel’s mom in season two.
– The Britney Spears episode, “Britney/Brittany,” will air in September, and include six songs, one of which will be sung by Britney herself. “We’re doing it in a very funny way,” Ryan revealed. “We’re doing it in a fun, hallucinogenic way.”
