Week four of ‘DWTS: All-Star’ competition featured the nine remaining celebrities and their pro partners performing a dance style that was chosen for them by their opponents.

In many cases the dances were unfamiliar to the pros, adding to the complexity of this week’s challenge.

The judging panel had a VIP guest this week. Sitting in with Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli was former ‘American Idol’ judge Paula Abdul.

The dances went down in this order: Kirstie & Maks – Charleston, Sabrina & Louis – Disco, Shawn & Derek – Mambo, Gilles & Peta – Bollywood, Kelly & Val – Contemporary, Apolo & Karina – Hip Hop, Bristol & Mark – Rock n Roll, Melissa & Tony – Jitterbug and Emmitt & Cheryl – Bolero.

Check out how they fared on the Leaderboard:

The weakest performance was Kirstie’s Charleston but with a fan base that continues to support her through thick and thin … she’ll probably survive tonight’s elimination. Bristol Palin’s Rock n’ Roll routine was surprisingly solid, though admittedly light on difficulty. Like the former ‘Cheers’ celeb, she should skate through if her fans did their work last night.

Karina Smirnoff fell during her Hip-Hop performance with Olympic speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno. She put on quite a display of emotion that might have turned off voters who expect the pros to be above the drama. Sabrina’s Disco number was on the lackluster side as well, which will likely have her in jeopardy and in line for the ‘DWTS’ boot.

This season’s strongest contenders, Shawn and Gilles, topped the leaderboard again this week with her Mambo and his Bollywood performance.

The most dramatic dance of the evening was soap star Kelly’s decidedly sensual Contemporary routine performed in bare feet because she broke her toe Monday morning.
