Prince William and his wife Catherine, aka Kate Middleton, posed for photographers as they departed King Edward VII Hospital Thursday.
The Duchess was hospitalized Monday for treatment of acute morning sickness as news of her pregnancy was hurriedly posted on the Royal couple’s website.
Kate’s sudden medical emergency led to a decidedly early sharing of her condition, a secret they had planned to reveal privately to family members at Christmas.
The mother-to-be emerged from the medical facility clutching a bouquet of yellow flowers that were presented to her by the staff.
William and Kate returned to Kensington Palace where she will reportedly rest before resuming her schedule.
