“Cougartown” actor David Clayton Rogers and his longtime girlfriend, “Army Wives” actress Sally Pressman are engaged.

Rogers proposed to his girlfriend of five years while they were working out at Tracy Anderson’s Studio in Los Angeles on October 19, according to his spokesperson. “David got down on one knee. After an immediate ‘yes’, they embraced in a loving (and sweaty) hug.”

Pressman, 29, stars as Roxy LeBlanc on the Lifetime hit show. Previous acting roles include a minor part as Courtney in the 2008 film, “My Best Friend’s Girl,” and a guest appearance on an episode of the CBS comedy, “The New Adventures of Old Christine.”

Rogers, 33, has appeared as Matt in two episodes of “Cougartown.” Previous roles include guest appearances on a slew of television shows, including “Cold Case,” “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “Ghost Whisperer,” “Brothers and Sisters,” and Numb3rs.” He starred as Henry in the 2010 TV movie, “Revenge of the Bridesmaids,” and recently wrapped production on the short film “Blast Off.”

The couple met in an acting class nearly five years ago.

The wedding is planned for August or September of 2011.
