Actress Christina Applegate and her musician fiance Martyn LeNoble welcomed their daughter Sadie Grace into the world at the end of January. On this week’s cover of People magazine, Sadie makes her first appearance.
Sadie’s birth has brought new meaning to Applegate’s life: “I felt my heart literally open up for the first time and like wrap itself around her. It was profound. And I am more in love with her every minute of the day.”
The actress wants to be an all-around great mother: “I want to be the ultimate burper, diaper-changer, I want to be the ultimate at it all.”
In 2008 Christina underwent a double mastectomy after being diagnosed with breast cancer. Now cancer free, she reports that Sadie Grace has healed her in so many ways: “She just made my life so much better. She opened my whole soul.”
