Oh Chris Brown, why? Of all the places you could have sung the National Anthem, why at a high profile Vegas boxing match? The moment that Brown announced via Twitter that he would be performing at the Mayweather vs Mosley fight, the Internet went crazy.
It seems that people did not understand why Breezy or his booking agent would allow him to be associated, anymore than he already has been, with physical violence. Even if people have forgiven the singer for his violent past, he had to have thought that this appearance wouldn’t sit right with everyone.
Chris took to his Twitter page to address the recent drama, “Im human. how many of u r perfect????????, if there is no forgiveness, there is no change… im humbled by everything…if i wasnt somewhat sane and loved my fans and music so damn much i would give up.. but thats not why i was put on this earth… youll see!”
We don’t think people are asking him to give up, maybe just make better decisions. Considering his past, he had to have suspected that people would make cruel jokes.
