This is the announcement that many Two and a Half Men fans have been waiting to hear. Actor Charlie Sheen and Warner Bros. have finally come to an agreement and the show will go on with all the same characters in place.

Sheen has signed on for another two years. He was asking for $2 million per episode and Warner Bros. was initially at half that number. The two sides reportedly met somewhere in the middle and everyone is happy.

The shows return will officially be announced on Wednesday when the Fall line-up is released to advertisers. Sheen issued his own statement on the good news:

“To put a fitting end on the two and one half months of whirlwind speculation, I am looking forward to returning to my CBS home on Monday nights. I want to thank Les Moonves for his support.”

Rep’s for Charlie and his wife Brooke Mueller indicate that there are no immediate plans for a divorce and they are trying to work through the issues. They have been under the media microscope ever since Sheen was arrested in Colorado on Christmas for domestic violence against Mueller.
