Two and a Half Men will soon be short one man. According to sources, Charlie Sheen is leaving the hit CBS show after the April 9th taping.
“Charlie’s just done,” a set source tells People magazine. “And he’s quietly telling his friends he’s not coming back.”
Sheen, who is facing domestic violence charges for a Christmas Day fight with wife Brooke Mueller, “wants to move on,” a friend of the actor says. “Leaving is 100 percent his idea.”
A spokesman for CBS said they don’t comment on contract issues.
The only comment Sheen’s rep Stan Rosenfield would make is “Charlie’s deal is only through the current season.”
I’m gonna go out on a limb here and call this a negotiating tactic.
