Celine Dion and hubby Rene Angelil welcomed twin sons last Saturday and were able to take their five pound bundles home on Wednesday — still without names. After much deliberation… that situation has finally been resolved.
The boys have been named Eddy and Nelson. The couple admitted the task of selecting appropriate names was daunting and left them “going a little bit crazy trying to decide.”
Eddy Marnay produced Celine’s first five records and is “like a father” to the singer. Celine met Nelson Mandela two years ago when she kicked off her world tour in South Africa.
The rep explained: “Celine and Rene want their children to be inspired by their names, because they were so inspired by these men.”
The couple have another son, 9-year-old son Rene Charles – FAMILY PHOTOS.
