Has Jennifer Aniston quietly put her Beverly Hills mansion on the market?
Although she has denied rumors that she made an offer on a $15 million penthouse in New York City, Aniston has gone on the record as “looking, looking, looking” for a pad in the Big Apple.
According to The Real Estalker, a number of top property purveyors were invited to check out Aniston’s 9000-square-foot Beverly Hills mansion this week. The asking price for the hillside home with views of the city is rumored to be $42 million – a hefty profit even after a multi-million dollar renovation of the Hal Leavitt-designed home the actress purchased for $13.5 million.
Aniston affectionately calls the home “Ohana,” a reference to the Hawaiian idea of extended family. “It’s like a big hug,” she says of the Zen-influenced single-level home.
Designer Stephen Shadley worked with the actress on the 2 1/2 year overhaul, which was featured in the March 2010 edition of Architectural Digest.
