Hollywood is mourning the loss of two veteran actors who died on December 24. Jack Klugman was 90 and Charles Durning was 89.
Jack Klugman famously portrayed Oscar Madison from 1970-75 in the television sitcom ‘The Odd Couple.’ He went on play a medical examiner in the weekly drama series ‘Quincy, M.E.’
The actor died at his Woodland Hills, California home early Christmas Eve. He is survived by his wife Peggy and sons David and Adam.

Charles Durning, “the king of character actors” according to the Los Angeles Times, was nominated for Oscars in nine different movies over his 50 year movie career. He won a Golden Globe for Best Support Actor in 1990 for the mini-series ‘The Kennedy’s of Massachusetts.’
Durning’s last television stint was a major recurring role in the FX drama ‘Rescue Me’ from 2004-2011.
The actor died of natural causes Monday at his home in Manhattan. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann in 2010 and is survived by three children. His daughter, Jeanine Durning, is a New York-based modern dance performer and choreographer.
