Today is World Aids Day and is also the launch date for a $1 million fund-raising effort by the Keep A Child Alive organization for their Buy Life Now campaign. A group of celebrities have vowed to sacrifice their digital lives to help save millions of real lives affected by HIV and AIDS in Africa and India.
Alicia Keys, Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Hudson, Kim Kardashian, Swizz Beats, Elija Wood, Usher, Serena Williams, Ryan Seacrest, Daphne Guinness, Jay Sean, Kimberly Cole, and David Lachapelle are among those who have taken to their coffins prematurely to make a difference.
They have all ‘tweeted’ their Last Will and Testament, asking their millions of followers to give generously — vowing they will not update their Facebook or Twitter pages until the Buy Life Now campaign raises $1 million. Keep a Child Alive website.
