Carrie Underwood and fiance Mike Fisher have arrived at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation, on Lake Oconee in Greensboro, Georgia for their wedding.

Booking the entire AAA Five Diamond resort at approximately $268,000 a night, with a reported total price tag of more than $500,000 for the wedding, the party is already underway. Non-wedding guests of the hotel were asked to vacate by noon Friday in preparation for the wedding party takeover. (See letter to guests)

“It’s going to be a good size wedding with plenty of good food and an open bar,” Fisher told Life & Style magazine. “But nothing too overblown. It’s still in the planning stages, so a lot of the details haven’t been finalized.”

He added that, ”As you might expect, Carrie’s involved in a lot of the details,” and joked, “I’ll just be showing up.”

The magazine quoted Underwood saying, ”I’m Southern. I like big hair and eyeliner. I want my wedding to be me, so I’ll probably be rocking some big hair and eyeliner… I want probably be someone I’ve worked with before.”

After exchanging vows near the lakeside landing, Carrie and Mike will spend their first night together as husband and wife in the $4000 a night 5,400 square foot Presidential House, a three-story manse which includes four master suites, living room, a gourmet kitchen, terrace with access to the recreation room, private pool and a dining room that seat 16. Other notable guests of the house include Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.

Fisher and Underwood were engaged in December, 2009.
