Guitar legend Carlos Santana and his fiancée Cindy Blackman were married in a star-studded wedding ceremony in Hawaii on December 19.
Blackman, 51, a jazz and rock drummer known for her work with Lenny Kravitz, wore a custom-made silk dress from Zurick boutique, Zoro, for the ceremony at the Ritz-Carlton on Maui.
The couple exchanged vows indoors due to rain, but according to Santana, 63, “no matter where we did it, the sun was shining.”
The couple washed their hands in a bowl of rainwater, and released doves “to release our purity and love into the cosmos,” according to the groom.
180 guests attended the wedding, including George Lopez, Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter.
“Cindy is a match with everything that I am, from fire of passion to vulnerability,” Santana told People magazine. “Everything tastes better when you share it with your soul mate.”
