Beyonce has landed the biggest gig of her career … the Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show slated for Feb. 3, 2013 at the New Orleans Superdome.

The ‘Single Ladies’ entertainer and sixteen-time Grammy winner will follow in the footsteps of Madonna, who led the charge in February 2012 with guests CeeLo Green, Nicki Minaj, LMFAO and M.I.A.

Madge and company drew an audience of 114 million — reportedly three million more people than actually tuned in for the contest between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots.

It seems likely Beyonce’s posse of backup performers for the Pepsi NFL Halftime Show will include hubby Jay-Z and Destiny’s Child bandmates Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland.
