Betty White made her debut on Saturday Night Live and didn’t disappoint. The 88-year-old, who dubbed herself ‘Betty Frickin’ White’ in several advance promos, nailed her SNL monologue and participated in a good number of humorous skits.
She did Scared Straight, NPR, Debbie Downer, Census, MacGruber, Joyologist, Sally O’Malley & Dotty O’Donghan and Bronx Beat…just to name a few. She admitted that she was “scared to death” all week, but the nerves were gone by show time as evidenced by her comedic performance.
The Mother’s Day themed episode was also a reunion of sorts that featured former SNL sketch artists Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Molly Shannon, Rachel Dratch, Ana Gasteyer and Maya Rudolph.
Snickers even got into the Betty White love fest by airing their infamous Super Bowl ad that featured White – check it out here.
