Deadliest Catch Star Jake Harris failed to appear in court Wednesday in his reckless driving case so the court issued a bench warrant for his arrest. Bail on the warrant is set at $500.
Harris, 24, was charged with reckless driving and driving on a suspended license. If convicted, Jake, whose father Captain Phil Harris died of complications from a stroke on Feb. 9, faces a maximum of one year and three months in jail.
“Jake just made a mistake on his scheduling,” his attorney, Ed Ritter, told People on Wednesday. “We plan on going in tomorrow at 2 p.m. to clear it all up.”
