Annette Edwards is a 57-year-old British woman who has spent $16K to have a plastic surgeon transform her into cartoon character Jessica Rabbit. She got cheek implants, chin implants, and a breast lift.

The great-grandmother “just loves” dressing up like Jessica Rabbit. She said, “I’ve always loved the cartoon character. I just think she’s a very sexy cartoon, or woman. With curves in the right places.”

In order to really make the transformation complete, Annette went on a ‘rabbit diet’ of salads for three months in order to lose 40 pounds. At that point she had a body to match the face of Jessica.

Edwards doesn’t stay in character all the time, much to the relief of her family. She said, “I’m only Jessica if I go on a shoot. I love being Jessica. My family thinks it’s a little crazy. It’s one of those things. I just love it. You only live once. Do what makes you happy.”

The cartoon character was based on a combination of Lauren Bacall, Rita Hayworth and Veronica Lake. She is one of the most famous sex symbols on the animated screen. The character is a singer at L.A. restaurant The Ink and Paint Club. In the film “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”, actress Kathleen Turner provided her voice.
