Over the weekend 135 guest joined American Chopper star Paul Teutul Jr. and Rachel Bezier at Bonnet Island Estate in New Jersey as they became man and wife. One invited guest who was noticeably missing from the nuptials was Paul Teutul Sr.
The father and son have had a well publicized up and down relationship. Paulie did invite his father despite their history of issues, but Senior chose not to attend the wedding.
From the sounds of it, no expense was spared in preparing for the event. The couple spent $28,000 on floral arrangements and guests enjoyed a 6-tier pink velvet cake with lemon buttercream that featured handmade sugar flowers.
One of the highlights was a butterfly release under an arched trellis garden while musicians played “Here Comes the Sun.” Sounds beautiful.
The festivities will likely be woven into an upcoming American Chopper episode, just as Senior’s wedding was two years ago.
