The Jonas Brothers Cancel Tour Over Creative Differences
Bad new for Jonas Brothers fans. Just two days before their tour was set to kick off, the famous siblings canceled their entire 19-date gig.
Spokesman Jesse Derris told PEOPLE, "There is a deep rift within the band. There was a big disagreement over their music direction."
Nick, 21, Joe, 24, and Kevin, 25, reportedly got into a major argument over the direction they were headed and couldn't come to an agreement because each of the band members had a different vision. They ultimately concluded that a tour would be a bad idea since they would "be all over the place" with their style.
In 2013 they released singles 'Pom Poms' and 'First Time.' The direction of the rest of their 'V' album, a work in progress, appears to be what sent the brothers into a tailspin.
The group has sold 20 million albums worldwide since signing with Hollywood Records in 2007, quickly gaining fame on the Disney Channel with the 'Camp Rock' movie series.
In addition, Nick and Joe have each released solo albums and dabbled in acting while their brother Kevin tried his hand at reality TV with his wife Danielle on 'Married to Jonas.' They are expecting their first child and indicate that is not the reason the tour was suddenly nixed.
Concert ticket holders will be refunded their money from the vendor who sold them.
