Las Vegas casino business magnate Steve Wynn made a killing at Sotheby's Thursday night auction, where his 1932 Picasso painting titled "Still Life with Tulips" sold for $41.5 million.

The billionaire art collector parted with the cartoonish marble bust portrait depicting Marie-Therese Walther, the French mistress and model of Pablo Picasso.  She was also the mother of his daughter, Maya Widmaier-Picasso.

Wynn accidentally put his elbow through another Picasso portrait, "Le Reve", shortly after striking a deal to sell it for $139 million to billionaire Steven A. Cohen.  The major blunder was witnessed by Barbara Walters, who talked about it on The View.

The portrait has since been repaired, one fiber at a time for $90,000.  Wynn, who decided to retain that particular oil painting, explained the major blunder in the video clip below:
