Daniel Craig: James Bond Swim Trunks Sold for $72,000
At a James Bond charity auction held in London on Friday, the swim trucks worn by actor Daniel Craig during the filming of 'Casino Royale' sold for a hefty $72,000.
Famed Christie's Fine Arts Auction House held a widely-publicized event to mark the 50th anniversary of the James Bond franchise.
Dame Judi Dench, who portrays James Bond's boss, M, introduced the auction item with this quip, "All I'm going to tell you is they're unwashed."
Money raised from the sale of 007 memorabilia will benefit UNICEF UK and Childline.
The role of the fictional British secret agent has been played by a number of actors circa 1962-2012: Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig.
