Wes Scantlin Arrested: Puddle of Mudd Singer
Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin was arrested for public intoxication after becoming combative with a flight attendant during a cross-country flight.
The Austin Police Department told E! News that they were notified about an "unruly" passenger aboard a JetBlue airliner traveling from Boston to Los Angeles.
A police spokesman reported, "The flight was diverted to Austin due to Wes Scantlin, lead singer of Puddle of Mudd. Once the plane landed the officers did their investigation and deemed that the individual was intoxicated and was placed under arrest for public intoxication."
This is Scantlin's second brush with the law in recent months. The entertainer entered a guilty plea on a charge of felony cocaine possession in July and was told his record would be cleared in 18 months if he managed to stay out of trouble.
If Wes is found guilty of interfering with a flight crew and public intoxication he could face a prison sentence on the cocaine charge.
