Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Engaged: Confirmed by Jeweler and Pitt Mgr
Beverly Hills jeweler Robert Procop has confirmed that he assisted in the design of an engagement ring that Brad Pitt commissioned for his new fiancee Angelina Jolie.
Rumors starting heating up on Wednesday April 11 when Angie was photographed sporting some serious ring bling as she and Brad accompanied their son Pax for a private viewing of the Chinese galleries at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
Things started to fall into place when a Procop spokesperson issued a statement, "Brad had a specific vision for this ring, which he realized over a yearlong collaboration with Robert. He wanted every aspect of it to be perfect, so Robert was able to locate a diamond of the finest quality and cut it to an exact custom size and shape to suit Angelina's hand."
"Brad was always heavily involve, overseeing every aspect of the creative design evolution. The side diamonds are specifically cut to encircle her finger. Each diamond is of the highest gem quality."
The jeweler is the former CEO of Asprey & Garrard, the British jewelry company to the English royal family. He is also a favorite of Angelina, who used his designs for her Style of Jolie collection to benefit the Education Partnership of Children in Conflict.
The news was also confirmed by the actor's manager Cynthia Pett-Dante. She said, "Yes, it's confirmed. It is a promise for the future and their kids are very happy. There's no date set at this time. Brad designed the ring."
In recent interviews Brad Pitt indicated his six children have been pushing for the couple to get married. It appears Angie and Brad got the message.
