Jimmy Kimmel announced last night on his show that Ashley Hebert will be the next woman to date 25 guys when Season 7 of the ABC reality show The Bachelorette kicks off in May.
The 26-year-old fourth year dental student from the University of Pennsylvania was the third place finisher on Season 15 of The Bachelor. In the episode before the finale, Brad Womack put on a full-court press to capture her heart but she was suddenly no longer interested.
Had she already been offered the new gig? In retrospect, something seemed odd about their final date. Perhaps he was part of that insider knowledge. As we all know, reality television isn’t necessarily real.
Speaking of The Bachelor, Womack gave his final rose to Emily Maynard during the finale last night. The After the Final Rose special was particularly interesting. It seems the couple have had a rocky ride, due to his volatile temper, since he slipped the ring on her finger – shocking details here.
Hebert claims her stint on The Bachelor helped her to get ready for the new challenge: “I feel like this season taught me so much about myself. It primed me for a new relationship. I’m ready to meet 25 new guys. Bring ’em on!”
The dental student, on an extended hiatus from her studies, is already busy filming for the new season, which will premiere May 23 on ABC.
