Eddie Cibrian tweeted the above pic over the weekend, sparking speculation that he and Leann Rimes are engaged.
Cibrian’s Twitter followers’ replies ranged from heartfelt congratulations to anger about the couple’s admitted affair.
But Rimes rep says, “They are not engaged, the TwitPic was all just in some Halloween fun.”
Rimes took to Twitter this afternoon saying, “Ok, it was ‘TRICK-or treat’ right! @eddiecibrian and I were having a little fun. That pic was taken at http://tl.gd/6os6sn. It was just a practice run! Lol”
Rimes’ recent cover of Shape magazine also created controversy, drawing criticism from readers and an apology from the editor, who called the decision “a terrible mistake”.
