DWTS Week 4 – October 11, 2010
Monday of Week 4 was Acoustic Night on the ABC hit reality show Dancing With the Stars The nine remaining couples danced either the rumba or the Argentine tango. The ‘twist’ this week was that the judges awarded two scores – one for technical merit and one for overall performance.
Landing back on top of the leaderboard with her Argentine tango was Jennifer Grey. She and partner Derek wowed the judges, who awarded them 27 for technical and a near perfect 29 for performance – total score 56.
Brandy and Maks danced the rumba and earned 22 for technical and 26 for performance – total score 48.
Audrina Patridge and Tony’s Argentine tango received scores of 24 and 22 – total score 46.
Kyle Massey and Lacy’s rumba was awarded 18 and 22 – total score 40.
Rick Fox and Cheryl’s sexy tango received 19 and 20 – total score 39.
Florence Henderson and Corky’s rumba earned 17 and 18 – total score 35.
Kurt Warner and Anna T’s rumba was awarded 15 and 19 – total score 34.
Bristol Palin and Mark’s rumba earned 18 and 14 – total score 32. The judges got tough with the Alaska teen. Carrie Ann Inaba called her out, even stabbing a finger as she told her to start dancing for the broader audience instead of just for her partner.
Mike ‘The Situation’ and Karina’s Argentine tango received 12 and 16 – total score 28.
In review, Palin had the lowest performance score and the Jersey Shore celeb was in the cellar on technical merit. So, who will reach the end of the line on Tuesday night? Wow… hard to say.
