Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Cy Waits were arrested at 11:30 p.m. last night in Las Vegas. His black Cadillac Escalade was pulled over in front of Wynn Hotel. Waits was arrested for DUI – drug related. When police searched Hilton, she was found to be in possession of a controlled substance.
Police watch commander Lt. Wayne Holman of the Clark County Detention Center confirmed that Hilton “was booked and released at 2:00 a.m.” Her boyfriend, 34, remains behind bars pending an arraignment.
Hilton’s publicist, Dawn Miller, has not yet released a statement.
Seemingly unphased by the incident, just three hours ago Paris ‘tweeted’: “Going to bed. Sweet dreams everyone. Xoxo Paris.”
This is the hotel heiress’s third incident of the summer. The 29-year old was arrested in South Africa for suspected possession of marijuana. Her friend took the fall and Paris walked away virtually unscathed. A few weeks later in France, Hilton was charged with possession of less than a gram of pot in her purse.
It has been a busy week for the socialite. She foiled a knife wielding intruder on Tuesday, before jetting off the Sin City with her beefy new boyfriend. Waits reportedly pulled a gun on Nathan Lee Parada, holding him until police arrived. Parada stands charged with felony burglary.
Her new man and his twin brother Jesse Waits are nightclub entrepreneurs in Sin City. Cy is managing partner at three hotspots: XS Nightclub and Botero restaurant inside Encore Las Vegas, Tryst nightclub at Wynn, and Drai’s After Hours inside Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall and Saloon.
