A year after the tragic passing of their beloved son Jett, John Travolta and Kelly Preston have announced that they are having a baby. The fantastic news came via their website yesterday.
“It is impossible to keep a secret, especially one as wonderful as this. We want to be the first to share this great news with everyone that we are expecting a new addition to our family.” Signed, “Love, John, Kelly and Ella.”
This really is incredible news because Kelly is 47-years-old, at the extreme end of a woman’s ability to safely conceive and carry a child. John is 56. The couple’s daughter, Ella Bleu just turned 10.
Last week the family went through another big loss when their two family dogs were killed in a freak accident at the airport. The dogs were being walked on the landing strip when an airport service truck accidentally ran them over.
No word on when the Travolta’s bundle of joy will arrive, though some sources are saying that she is three months along.
Congratulations to the Travolta’s…this really is great news!
