The Biggest Loser Couples 3 has a budding romance behind the scenes on the popular NBC reality show. Contestant Sherry Johnston, who was voted off the ranch on last week’s show, revealed that Sam Poueu, 24, and Stephanie Anderson, 29, are a couple.
Sam, a youth football coach and security guard from Rohnert Park, California has reportedly made a serious connection with radio sales executive Stephanie who lives in West Hollywood.
Anderson and her mother Patti, who was eliminated after the Week 2 weigh-in, joined the show as the Purple team. Poueu and his cousin Koli Palu make up the Gray team. Sam was born on the tiny island of American Samoa and was adopted by his uncle and aunt who lived in the States when he was just a baby.
The individual teams have now been consolidated into the Blue team and the Black team. Through nine weeks on the ranch, Black team member Sam has lost 94 pounds and Stephanie has lost 56. The other remaining Black team members are Andrea Hough, 24, of Ann Arbor, Michigan and Ashley Johnston, 27, of Knoxville, Tennessee.
Remaining Blue team members include Daris George, 25, Koli Palu, 29, Lance Morgan, 38, Michael Ventrella, 30, Sunshine Hampton, 24, and her 51-year-old father O’Neal Hampton of Minneapolis.
Stephanie was sent home on Tuesday, March 30.
