Actress Brittany Murphy – who died suddenly at the age of 32 on December 20, 2009 – left her entire estate to her mother.

Sources say Brittany wrote a holographic (handwritten) will years before she was married that states all assets are to go to her mother. The will was stored in her manager’s safe.

Brittany’s husband, Simon Monjack, told TMZ that after they were married Brittany had a formal will and trust drawn up. Simon reveals that under the new will and trust Brittany’s mother Sharon is the sole beneficiary.

Simon says – no pun intended – the will specifically states, at his request, “I am married to Simon Monjack who I have intentionally left out of this will.”

On February 4, the L.A. County Coroner ruled that Brittany Murphy’s cause of death was “community acquired pneumonia, iron deficiency anemia, and multiple drug intoxication.”
