Last month, 90 Day Fiance alum Larissa Lima gushed that marrying boyfriend Eric would be her happily ever after.

Just two weeks later, she’s singing a very different tune.

After seven months together, the Queen herself has announced that she and Eric have broken up. How they broke up is a little shocking. …

"After 8 months of being Erickee’s girlfriend," Larissa begins. "I have to tell my followers that we have decided to break up and go our separate way."

For the record, early February through early September is 7 months, not 8.

"There is no hard feelings or regrettees," she assures her fans.

"But," Larissa expresses. "I need to look in my own soul."

She needs to work on self-examination, she explains, "and focus on being the best Larissa I can be."

Larissa may be focusing on self-care, but she has already figured out where she went wrong in this relationship.

"I try to heal one painful breakup by jumping in relationship with Erickee," she admits.

She joined Tinder in early February looking for a serious relationship, and she found one.

Only now, it seems, can she see that a rebound didn’t do anyone any favors.

"But I know now," Larissa writes. "I need to work on me and focus on my healing of my scars."

"I not sure what will come of the future," Larissa confesses.

"But," she expresses. "I am excited for it."

"I look forward to this time in my life," Larissa continues. "As a reflection on my own personal dreamees and goals I set to do."

That sounds very healthy to us.

In conclusion, she gushes at her fans: "Thank you for all your love, strength, and support to me always."

This breakup news is very sad. We’ve enjoyed covering their relationship since it first began in February of this year.

But here is where it gets interesting.

Eric went on Instagram (to his profile, of all places) and revealed that he found out that the relationship was over the same way that the rest of us did.

"Dumped on 9/11?" Eric writes. "Through a post?"

He reveals: "My mother saw to call to tell me about it."

"I will always remember to be me," Eric strongly affirms.

"And," he continues. "To rather die on my feet than live on my knees."

It’s not entirely clear if Eric is trying to hint at what he perceived to be problems in the relationship.

These may just be affirmations that he repeats to himself when feeling low.

Either way, it’s clear from both parties that the relationship is over.

After Eric modified his Instagram bio to share his side of the breakup, Larissa responded in a comment to blogging superstar John Yates.

"I sent him a text he never answered," Larissa explains. "So I decided to make it official online."

"I did not breakup because a post," she emphasizes. "But because [of] a series of events."

"We had a lot of fun together," Larissa acknowledges. "But we are not on the same page of relationship."

That sounds like a very good reason to break up.

Larissa shares some of the frustrations that she experienced towards the end of the relationship.

"I was giving too much and not having enough effort back," she laments.

"I realized that I need to concentrate on me and love myself more," Larissa expresses. "Before I can be with someone."

But even if things weren’t perfect, Larissa isn’t throwing her handsome ex under the bus.

"He is a good guy," she concludes. "And [I] wish him the best."

It doesn’t sound like there’s a bad guy here.

(Very different from her harrowing breakup with Coltee)

Instead, it sounds like they’re just two people who ended up less compatible than they’d thought.

That said … Larissa, breaking up by text after seven months together isn’t super cool. Especially not if it’s amicable.

But what’s done is done. For now, we can’t wait to see what Larissa does next.
