It turns out that Todd Chrisley's arrest was just a taste of the massive scandal that followed.
His own daughter Lindsie says he blackmailed her with her sex tape -- in order to pressure her into giving false testimony at his trial.
Now, Todd is saying that he "forgives" his daughter. This man has a lot of nerve.
Having your dad and brother allegedly purchase your sex tape is bad, no matter their intentions.
The idea of them doing it in order to blackmail you is obviously worse.
According to police documents, Lindsie says that Todd and Kyle intended to force her to give false testimony at Todd's trial.
Lindsie wants the world to know what they tried to do to her. And she'll remember what they've done until the end of time.
"For what they've done [to] me, I will never forgive it," Lindsie said.
Despite his legal situation, Todd still has his podcast, Chrisley Confessions.
"She will always be my daughter, that will never change," Todd said in response to Lindsie's accusations.
"She is my first born child, and she is loved," he affirmed.
He continued: "And this is her moment for her to say whatever she wants to say."
Todd says that this remains the case "regardless of whether or not its true or not."
"She is forgiven," he declared.
"She is forgiven for what's happened in the last week to 10 days," Todd announced.
He added: "She is forgiven for what has happened in this investigation that she has contributed to."
For the record, participating in a criminal investigation on behalf of just laws is not something for which people need to seek forgiveness.
(Unless they're part of an organized crime family)
"She's forgiven for what she's gonna do today," Todd emphasized. "And tomorrow."
But he had a lot more to say than just affirming his love for the daughter he allegedly tried to blackmail.
"In the coming months there's going to be a lot of things that are revealed," Todd warned.
"There's gong to be a lot revealed," he said. "Regarding how we got to where we are with the Georgia Department of Revenue."
He added: "How we got to where we are with the IRS."
Todd has insinuated that the accusations against him are lies concocted by someone who wants his money and is expecting a kickback.
"I love all of my children," Todd claimed.
"It is a shame that I have raised five children," he said. "And that the jealousy and the greed and the backstabbing that has been exhibited towards a sibling is unconscionable."
"They're going to be ashamed when something happens to each of them," Todd expressed.
"And then," he predicted. "You can't turn around say I'm sorry, because it's too late."
If Todd were a crime boss, that would sound like a death threat. We don't think that it is intended as such.
This is a huge mess, involving an already larger-than-life reality TV family, allegations of crimes, and a massive family feud.
We're sure that this is not the last that we'll hear from Todd or from Lindsie.
Lindsie made an incredibly brave choice by coming forward and sharing her story of being blackmailed.
Revealing that you have a sex tape is no easy thing, but it ensured that it could never be used to control her.
